Refinishing

We are proud to offer high quality custom refinishing from Grand Pianos, Upright Pianos, Square Grands, Reed Organs and even Harpsichords. Every project is unique and it’s the reason why we offer a variety of finishes for our customers. Our most popular finishes include a beautiful traditional satin lacquer finish and modern high gloss polyester finish, both finishes are meant to protect, conserve and beautify your instrument for many years to come.

There are many steps to achieve a proper professional finish, it begins by removing the old finish, washing and cleaning all parts. Then any damages to the case and veneer are repaired. The next step is to sand down the case and parts to prepare for staining or priming. After the stain has been applied we then spray the sealer coats and level by sanding all parts. sThe last phase is applying the final coats followed by machine polishing or hand rubbing. All the metal parts installed in the piano are re-polished.
