I am a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild Inc. I have been rebuilding and tuning pianos for 40 years.
Perhaps one of my most memorable projects was the complete rebuilding and restoration of the 1928 Steinway D that had been purchased by the Chateau Laurier in 1929. The start to finish project took approximately 2 years to complete.
Installation of a new custom fitted pinblock, soundboard reshimming, and Renner Blue hammers for this 9 foot concert grand was the most challenging and rewarding task I have ever undertaken. Whatever your needs, I would be pleased to handle any re building assignments from the smallest to largest whether it be a new pin block, soundboard installation, regulation.
